So “Don’t stop believing” is playing on the radio right now…
I was just a bit too young to appreciate Journey when they were really popular, but my Uncle was not, and he had what might be the best video game ever created:
Of course I’m speaking of Journey Escape. Whenever I hear the song on the radio, this is what comes to mind. (at 6 years old, I hadn’t really heard the album, just the bad Atari-style electronic version) All the hours I spent during my extreme youth playing what has to be one of the strangest ideas anyone has ever came up with. A band that has to avoid the kool-aid man (supposedly a “shifty-eyed” manager), big yellow flying fences, flashing yellow orbs, and groupies who are big hearts with legs attached.
Oh yeah…all of them apparently in space.
Apparently in 1982 all the drugs from the 70’s hadn’t quite worn off yet.
