We’re really worrying about this?
People are arguing that John McCain isn’t elegable to become president because he wasn’t born in the U.S.
He was born on a U.S. Military installation, because his father was there serving his country.
From the weblog:
McCain supporter Senator Lindsey Graham says it would be incomprehensible if the son of a military officer born on a military installation couldn’t run for president. He says it would mean telling every military family their child couldn’t become president if born overseas.
Let me modify that a bit:
Most certainly non-McCain supporter Tyson from twta.org, says it would be incomprehensible if the son of a military officer born on a military installation couldn’t run for president.
The fact that’s it’s even being discussed is insane, and insulting to anyone in the military.
I don’t want the guy to be the next president, but that’s because I don’t think he’s the best candidate for the job, certainly not because of any question about his citizenship.
